When Shore Light Baptist Church purchased a new building in Daphne, Alabama, they weren’t just moving into a new space. They were creating a place that reflected who they are and where God is leading their ministry.
Compel Graphics & Printing had the privilege of partnering with Shore Light throughout the entire process, designing, producing, and installing a complete interior and exterior signage package that transformed the facility into a welcoming, cohesive environment. Rather than approaching each sign as an individual project, we developed a complete visual system that carried their branding throughout the entire building.
Directional Signage
One of the most important jobs signage performs is helping people know where to go without asking. As visitors arrive, they’re greeted with exterior signage that clearly identifies the building and directs them to the main entrance. Directional signage throughout the building guides guests to classrooms, children’s areas, the auditorium, offices, restrooms, and ministry spaces. Simple, consistent wayfinding helps create a welcoming experience while reinforcing the church’s visual identity at every turn.
Kids Area
One of our favorite parts of the project was Shore Light Kids. We created colorful branding that immediately communicates a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children. The project included custom wall graphics, dimensional logo signage, playful room identification signs, and environmental graphics that tie the entire children’s ministry together. Instead of simply labeling classrooms, the graphics create an experience that children and parents remember.
Welcome Center and Large Wall Graphics
First impressions matter. The welcome area features dimensional lettering mounted on an architectural wood slat wall, creating a clean, modern focal point that immediately communicates professionalism and hospitality. Throughout the building, SEGs, wall graphics, and ministry displays reinforce Shore Light’s mission while adding warmth and personality to previously blank walls.
